NTA NET 2019 – Exam Date, Syllabus, Fee Structure & More

NTA (National Testing Agency) have invited candidates to fill online application form for NET-2019 (National Eligibility Test). NET is conducted for the Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship for Indian national citizens. Interested candidates can follow the post for more details.

Important Dates

  • Online Registration Start : 09 September 2019
  • Registration Last Date : 15 October 2019
  • Fee Payment Last Date : 15 October 2019
  • Correction Date : 18-25 October 2019
  • Online Exam Date : 02-06 December 2019
  • Admit Card Available : 10 November 2019
  • Result Available : 31 December 2019

Application Fee

  • General : Rs.1000/-
  • OBC-NCL: Rs. 500/-
  • SC/ST/PwD : Rs. 250/-

Eligibility

Age Eligibility Educational Qualification
  •   For JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), age limit is 30 years as on 1st January 2019.
  • No age limit for the Assistant Professor.
  • The relaxation in the upper age limit for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD & Women category will be 5 years.
  • Relaxation will also be provided to the research experience and LL.M Degree (3 years) holders.
  •   Candidates those have the Master’s degree or equivalent from a university recognized by UGC can apply.
  • Ph.D candidates can also apply.
  • Minimum Marks: It is necessary to have at least 55% marks in the master’s degree. 50% marks for reserved categories.
  • Appearing Candidates: Appearing in the final semester of the master’s degree can also apply.
  • Relaxation: There is a 5% of relaxation for Ph.D degree holders in aggregate marks.
