Important tips for NTA UGC NET Computer Science & Applications exam preparation

National Testing Agency (NTA) now conducts NET Exam instead of University Grant Commission (UGC).

The pattern of the examination is also changed. Currently, there are two papers instead of three papers.

Paper-I is a General Paper that includes Teaching & Research Aptitude. It is a common paper for all disciplines which consists of a total of 100 marks with 50 questions.

Paper-II on Computer Science and Applications consists of 200 Marks with 100 questions

Here are some very important Tips for UGC NTA NET Computer Science and Applications exam preparation:

Make Time Table for Preparation

First of all, make a time table according to this timetable divide each topic week wise. You can also download a free preparation schedule for NTA NET Exam preparation from DigiiMento Website.

During the preparation, make proper notes for every topic with the summary.
If possible in your time table give an extra column which is about whether you completed this topic or not as it will help you decide later which topics to revise during the revision phase.
Keep your sources trustworthy and limited. The NTA NET syllabus is very vast, and you can not refer many different sources as you will be following the time constraint. So it’s essential to know which sources you can refer and stick to them.

Step 2: Solve Previous Year NTA UGC NET Papers, State Eligibility Test (SET) Papers and GATE Papers.

Completing the syllabus is just the first step. Next step is the evaluation of your preparation, and you can do it by solving previous year papers.
Spend at least one week time for paper solving section, because you will get a better idea about your preparation weak areas and paper pattern.

Step 3: Revision
Allocate at least 1 to 2 weeks for revision, and during the revision go through all the notes that you prepared and weak topics.
