GATE or ESE or PSUs ? What should i Choose ? by IIT delhi Topper IES Alumni.
It depends on what you are interested to do. You can do both simultaneously if you are ready to work hard & give 100 percent dedication. Both of the exams are different although some part of the Syllabus is similar. IES is Vast & GATE is Deep. In GATE you will be tested more conceptually & it requires a lot of analytical ability. Whereas IES is more factual & questions are repeated but syllabus is vast compared to gate.
